WOLF RPG Editor is a tool used to create RPGs just like RPG Maker.

Wine

You can run games made with WOLF RPG Editor using Wine with or without your favorite front-end. You only need to change your locales to Japanese and set up Japanese fonts.

Installing translations[1]

  1. Use "arc_conv" to extract the "Data.wolf" game file content to the "Data.wolf~" directory.
  2. Rename "Data" from the game directory to something else.
  3. Move "Data.wolf~" to the game directory and rename it to "Data".
  4. Extract the patch archive to the “Data” directory.
  5. Delete the “Data.wolf” file.

Troubleshooting

  • Disabling "xaudio2_8.dll" with winecfg might be required when using some Wine versions[2].
  • You might have to use "Config.exe" to tweak game settings and work around some bugs.
